Most if not all the online Bingo Sites feature Chat. Chat is just a way to communicate with the other people online playing the same games as you are. Usually a small rectangular box appears somewhere on your screen bingo card where you can enter comments, encouragement or just chat with other people. Commonly there are only two rules regarding chat. Firstly, most sites prefer you speak in English only (or Spanish or French only on Spanish and French sites). Secondly no foul language is permitted! Some sites will deal with violations of their chat policy quite harshly and may ban you from chat or even their site so follow the rules.
There is no requirement to Chat, you can just "listen" in or in most cases you can turn chat off and just enjoy your game. Usually a list of people who are involved in chat appears somewhere on the bingo site so if you are looking for a friend you will be able to find them.
There is an online lingo for chat, the following is a list of common chat language that you may see in Chat on your Bingo site.
